Google contextual advertising (Google Ads) is a type of online advertising where ads are shown to users based on their search queries, interests, or the websites they visit.

There are two main types of contextual advertising in Google:

  • Search advertising – ads appear in Google search results when a user enters relevant keywords.

  • Display advertising – banners or text ads are shown on Google partner websites based on the page content and user interests.
